A variety of tools, questionnaires, and psychological instruments are available to help us understand your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®)The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment has helped millions of people worldwide gain insights about themselves and how they interact with others—and improve how they communicate, learn, and work. It provides a powerful framework for building better relationships, driving positive change, harnessing innovation, and achieving excellence. The MBTI assessment makes Carl Jung's theory of psychological type both understandable and highly practical by helping individuals identify their preferences in four areas.

Strong Interest Inventory® - The Strong Interest Inventory® assessment is one of the world’s most widely respected and frequently used career planning tools. It has helped both academic and business organizations develop the brightest talent and has guided thousands of individuals—from high school and college students to midcareer workers seeking a change—in their search for a rich and fulfilling career.

Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI®) - The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI®) tool is the world’s best-selling tool for helping people understand how different conflict-handling styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics—and for empowering them to choose the appropriate style for any situation.  The TKI tool assesses an individual’s typical behavior in conflict situations and describes it along two dimensions: assertiveness and cooperativeness. It provides detailed information about how that individual can effectively use five different conflict-handling modes, or styles.

Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation™ (FIRO®) - The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation™ (FIRO®) instruments help people understand their interpersonal needs and how those needs influence their communication style and behavior—and in the process improve their personal relationships and professional performance. These tools have helped individuals, teams, and organizations around the world grow and succeed by serving as a catalyst for positive behavioral change.  The FIRO assessments are based on social need theory: all living things seek equilibrium between their basic needs and getting those needs met. They address, gather, and present critical insights around these fundamental areas - how you tend to behave toward others and how you want others to behave toward you.

Parker Team Player Survey - The newly designed Parker Team Player Survey (PTPS) is an easy-to-use self-assessment exercise that helps individuals identify their primary team player style--contributor, collaborator, communicator, or challenger. They discover how to best use their style for improved team performance and how to adjust the role they play on the team to meet the team's needs. Each survey includes complete scoring information, interpretation of the results, and feedback materials that help team members understand their primary and less-used styles.

Power Base Inventory - Today's leaders know that influence is an essential requirement for effective leadership and that power is a requirement for influence. The Power Base Inventory is an easy-to-use and highly effective management and leadership training tool that reveals leadership and influence styles of individuals. It will acquaint individuals with the different types of power to use to influence others and how to choose among them. The Inventory assesses the approaches individuals use to influence others to get them to do what you want them to do by altering their beliefs or behavior.  Simple and quick to use with just 30 carefully selected statement pairs, the Power Base Inventory indicates a person's level of use of each of the six general types of power a leader can have, or "power bases." Thus, the Inventory provides a menu of choices or resources that a leader can draw from to influence others:

  • Information—facts or reasoning that the leader possesses and is able to share convincingly with team members

  • Expertise—the leader's superior judgment or knowledge in a specific area

  • Goodwill—feelings of support and respect that the leader has built with others

  • Authority—the leader's formal right to direct others in certain matters and on others' obligation to follow those directions

  • Reward—the leader's control over things others desire

  • Discipline—the leader's formal right to punish others

Feedback is included that highlights appropriate uses for each of the power bases, identifies warning signals of both overuse and underuse of each style, and suggests way to strengthen one's ability to use styles appropriately.
